Tim Kirkindoll lives in Bakersfield, California with his wife Leslie. He is a self-trained artist who focuses on expression and detail. Tim has spent most of his career doing commission portraits, illustrations and mural work. His portfolio is comprised of pencil/charcoal, colored pencil, acrylic paint, pastels, and more. Tim has a passion for capturing the beauty of expression within his work. He has been involved with multiple shows and galleries, winning several “Best of Shows” and first place awards.Tim’s art is a reflection of the community(ies) and people in which he has studied, lived, worked and loved. As an alarm technician, grocery clerk, or working in medical sales Tim’s experiences continue to shape his art.
In April of 2007,Tim stepped out in faith to dedicate himself to art full time. At the same time the Lord began to show Tim His plan, both for his career and his life. The many pieces of “worship art” that you see in his showings are a result of this obedience. The new challenge of waiting on “The Creator” for inspiration, creating during live musical worship, opened a whole new avenue both for intimacy with the Father as well as an opportunity to showcase his talents and to bless the church body. The Lord has brought divine inspiration and prophetic wisdom that through obedience has allowed Tim to express the talents given to him by God. “My hope is to gain closeness with the father, if in turn it allows me to pursue my artistic dreams then all glory be to God.
